Clients post projects, hire freelancers  and provide compensation for completed work. Clients are responsible for:

5. Payments

a. Escrow System

UbuntuGIG uses an escrow system to ensure secure transactions:

  • Clients deposit funds into escrow before work begins.
  • Funds are released to freelancers upon project completion and client approval.

b. Fees

UbuntuGIG charges service fees for using the platform, deducted from payments made to freelancers or billed to clients. Fee details are provided during the transaction process.

c. Payment Disputes

Disputes over payments or project outcomes must be reported promptly. UbuntuGIG will mediate disputes but cannot guarantee a resolution favorable to all parties.


6. Prohibited Conduct
